ML-powered wildfire risk prediction for British Columbia. Daily fire risk at 1km and 5km resolution across the entire province. The only public tool of its kind in Canada.
Prediction Engine
Two resolutions: 84K+ cells at 5km (free hosted API) and ~2M cells at 1km (high-resolution engine). XGBoost ensemble trained on 10 fire seasons and 21 open data sources. 0.962 AUC-ROC at 5km, 0.974 at 1km. Daily updates powered by real-time weather, terrain, and vegetation data.
